TikTok Profile View History: What It Is and How to Turn It Off

Profile View History is the one TikTok feature that can reveal you visited someone's profile. Here's how it works and how to switch it off.
How it works
When enabled, it shows you a list of accounts that viewed your profile in the last 30 days — and shows your visits to others who also have it on. It's mutual: if either side has it disabled, visits aren't recorded.
How to turn it off
- Open your Profile and tap the menu, then Settings and privacy.
- Go to Privacy → Profile View History.
- Toggle it off.
With it off, you won't see who viewed you — and you won't appear in anyone else's history either.
The simpler alternative
If you just want to look at a profile without any of this, view it while logged out, or use an anonymous viewer. No account involved means nothing to record.
