Anonymous Instagram vs TikTok Viewers: What They Can and Can’t Do
A straight comparison of anonymous viewers for Instagram and TikTok — features, limits, and what to watch out for.

Anonymous viewers exist for both platforms, but they behave a little differently. Here's how they compare.
What both can do
- Show a public profile without you logging in
- Display bio, follower/following counts and post/video counts
- Load recent posts or videos, with view and like counts
- Leave no trace — the owner can't see who looked
Where they differ
TikTok is video-first: you'll browse recent videos with play counts and comments. Instagram mixes photos, carousels and reels, and its login wall is more aggressive — so a viewer's biggest value there is skipping that wall entirely.
Shared limitations
Neither can open private accounts, reveal story viewers, or show who viewed a post. Any tool claiming otherwise is misleading. Stick to services that are upfront about only handling public data.
Choosing one
Look for a viewer that covers both platforms, is honest about the public-only limit, and doesn't ask you to log into TikTok or Instagram. ZocialViewer does all three.
