How to View a TikTok or Instagram Profile Picture in Full Size
Profile pictures are tiny and un-clickable in the app. Here is how to see any public avatar in full resolution.

Both TikTok and Instagram shrink profile pictures and block you from tapping to enlarge them. If you just want a clear look at someone's public avatar, the app won't help — but there's an easy workaround.
Why the app won't zoom
Profile photos are deliberately non-interactive in the native apps. There's no built-in "view full size" option, so screenshots come out small and pixelated.
The workaround
Open the public profile in an anonymous viewer. It loads the avatar at the largest resolution the platform serves, so you can see it clearly — no login, and the owner isn't notified.
A note on respect
This only works for public profiles, and it's for viewing — not for impersonation or re-uploading someone's image as your own. Keep it to legitimate, personal use.
