Posts Get Deleted. Snapshots Don’t: Why You Should Save What You See
Profiles change, posts vanish, bios get rewritten. How saved profile snapshots let you keep a record of what a public account looked like.
Social media is written in pencil. The post you saw yesterday is edited today and gone tomorrow. If you're tracking a competitor, vetting a creator, or documenting behavior, "I saw it, I swear" is worth nothing once the content disappears.
Screenshots are fragile evidence
Screenshots work, but they're manual, easy to lose, capture one screen at a time, and carry no context — no date you can prove, no follower count at that moment, no surrounding posts.
Snapshots capture the moment
Every profile you open in ZocialViewer is saved as a snapshot: the bio, follower and post counts, recent posts and comments, exactly as they were at that moment, timestamped. Your view history keeps every snapshot, so you can reopen last month's version of a profile even if the account has since changed its name, wiped its posts, or gone private.
